Teckell® Effetto 71 is crafted from the finest glass and natural materials for professional-level playing and unprecedented style. This table tennis further transforms the sport with its low iron tempered glass table top. Far from fragile, the transparent material is rock solid and the ball bounces smoothly for a fast, fluid game. The solid American walnut legs are shaped to represent the ball’s trajectory inverted and harken back to the lines often seen in 1950s and ’60s Italian design.

Teckell® creates a magnificent piece of art and design that manages to combine essentiality and modernism in a modern Haiku: the low iron tempered glass top seems to float on its solid walnut legs, which resemble an abstraction of tree branches.
Our designers constantly search for ways in which to modernize Teckell®’s tables while maintaining that delicate balance of craftsmanship, function and a pure style.
The name “Effetto 71” honors that signature bounce and ping-pong’s ability to foster peace and unity. In 1971, the Chinese government invited the U.S. table tennis team to visit China for a series of friendly matches, even though the two countries had severed diplomatic ties decades earlier. The young Chinese and U.S. players transcended borders and cultural differences around ping-pong tables. These matches represented the beginning of a renewed relationship.
It takes a simple movement to transform Teckell® Effetto 71 from an unconventional and unique game table into a beautiful and minimalist living room table.
Long before there were words such as “sustainable”or “green,” Teckell® was crafting objects with Mother Nature in mind – that is, gorgeous, 100% Italian objects made with fine materials that are cherished and handed down.
